Inhouse Training / Instructional Design

As part of the multimedia team in DEIS, I played a role in the development of a series of in-house training modules for Postbank. We developed both a html/scorm-based solution and a flash-based solution. The screenshots here are from the flash-based module Premium Saver.

Again, the course structure was based on instructional design good practice guidelines, the learner is given an overview of the learning objectives, interactive, media-rich content, chances for self-assessment and a summary at the end of the work.

Postbank supplied us with detailed branding guidelines. My role within the project was to develop a style guide, storyboards, a full image library and flash-based style library for the project, staying within the existing Postbank branding parameters. The style guide, storyboards and libraries were distributed to the DEIS team so as to maintain continuity in terms of animation style, images and graphic design throughout what was quite a substantial project. My role involved ensuring that our team of four designers produced cohesive work that kept within the brand guidelines, as well as developing images and animations to be used by the team.
