Vodafone approached DEIS to develop a series of in-house training modules. The module featured here is Mobile Email Solutions.
We developed a flash based solution, following a typical instructional design structure. The learner is given the learning outcomes and presented with content. They are provided with opportunites for self-assessment in terms of knowledge aquired and then, on completion of the course, they are given a summary of what has been covered.
My development role involved creating a full image library of icons and images for the modules, as well as a number of flash-based animations. I was also responsible for developing storyboards, a colour palette, style guide and flash-based animation templates and ensuring that these were carried throughout the project to guarantee visual consistency. These were created following Vodafone inhouse branding guidelines and were informed by research into current Vodafone media. The styleguide and libraries were intended to reflect Vodafone's very dynamic, energetic graphic style.
